Unimatrix Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Who we are

Unimatrix is a managed IT and cybersecurity provider based at 185 Snow Blvd., Suite 206, Concord, Ontario L4K 4N9. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information through unimatrix.ca and when you contact us. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Information you give us: when you fill in a form, book an assessment, email, or call us, we collect what you provide. That can include your name, email address, phone number, company name, the service you’re asking about, and your message.

Information collected automatically: when you visit the site, cookies and similar tools collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the site that referred you, and how long you stay. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your questions and requests
  • Schedule and carry out a complimentary assessment
  • Provide and support the services you buy from us
  • Send you emails you have agreed to receive
  • Understand how people use the site so we can improve it
  • Measure how well our advertising works
  • Protect the site and meet our legal obligations

Consent and email

When you submit a form, you agree that we can use your information to respond to you. We send marketing emails only to people who have agreed to receive them, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by using it or by contacting us.

Cookies

The site uses three kinds of cookies. Necessary cookies make the site work and can’t be turned off. Analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, show us how the site is used. Advertising cookies help us measure ads we run on platforms such as Google and LinkedIn. You choose whether to allow analytics and advertising cookies in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business and this site, such as our customer relationship management and email platform (HubSpot), our analytics and advertising providers (Google, and LinkedIn when we advertise there), our website host, and our website and marketing agency. They may use the information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

Storage outside Canada

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessed by its courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information from loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it. Contact our Privacy Officer using the details below, and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
